We have a training requirement on SevOne v7.2 Architecture from one of our client.

 

Scope of training : SevOne v7.2 architecture, focusing on how data is organized across devices, objects, and indicators. The course then dives into advanced cluster management, teaching users how to add user accounts, configure fault-tolerant clusters, assign virtual IPs, and bulk-add devices using CSV files. It also covers device certification processes. In the data collection module, learners create custom metrics using Cross Object Calculations (CoCs) and Synthetic Indicators. The flow management section introduces SNMP trap handling and the integration of Webhooks for alerting. Advanced alert management builds on this by refining trap techniques and enhancing alert workflows. A key highlight is the SevOne API v3 (Swagger), where users learn to automate tasks like device addition and external metric ingestion using Rapid Infrastructure Automation (RIA). The course concludes with command-line interface (CLI) training, equipping users with diagnostic and health check commands to manage SevOne clusters efficiently. Upon completion, participants earn a digital badge, validating their advanced proficiency in SevOne.
